To successfully make sustainability an organizational reality, leadership must put forth bold visions while engaging their organization and stakeholders in different, deeper conversations about the purpose and responsibility of business. There must be a willingness to go far beyond surface-level change to challenging assumptions and some long-held beliefs. We know from our experience with Appreciative Inquiry (AI) that it is designed for these types of transformative conversations.
This 90-minute session is designed to introduce participants to one of today?s most significant change-drivers, sustainability, and provide an overview of Appreciative Inquiry. We will engage participants in a mini-AI process focused around the Cleveland 2019 change initiative in addition to sharing some stories and our best thinking about the relationship between AI and organizations seeking to embrace the values, principles, and practices of sustainability.
